A friend turned me on to a great running app — Charity Miles. It’s not just for running, but works great for cycling and walking, too. Here’s the deal…just turn on the app, choose a charity, and start working out. Bikers earn 10 cents per mile, runners and walkers earn 25 cents per mile. Boom! Love this app, except when it’s a balmy 29 degrees in Philly. No chilly willy running outside for me, so I hit the treadmill at the gym this morning for my 3 mile run. You would never know it was 5:30 a.m., not p.m., from this picture!
No matter freezing or early morning, I was pretty happy with my time on the treadmill this morning — 16:02 at 1.5 miles and 33:36 at 3 miles 🙂
